A good boat broker can help navigate a complicated process. We all envision the day when we can take ownership of our very own sport-fishing machine. Hiring a good broker, and following his advice, takes a lot of hassle out of a boat purchase.
We are proud to share with you this story of another satisfied customer.
We would like to express the excellent service Tony provided us during the purchase of our Genesis 360.
It was previously known as Radar and now called ‘D & G’ (Dianne & Gerhard) and as the proud new owners, we have attached a photo of the finished product.
When we first met Tony on an initial reconnaissance visit, he was very helpful and showed us a number of boats at your Westhaven sales berths. He followed up with a phone call and told us about the Genesis, berthed in Orakei and he arranged a visit for the following weekend to show us the boat. We decided to go under contract and Tony covered all liaisons with the vendor in a very professional manner. This gave us a lot of confidence, especially as this was the first boat we have bought.
Tony handled all the repairs recommended by the surveyor and also joined us for the sea trial. When it came to the final purchase after the oils samples came back, Tony really took it up another level. He organised polishers and helped me with the sign writers to ensure the boat was ready within 2 days so that I could surprise my partner in time for her arrival from Australia.
Tony has already arranged a practical boating session to show us the ropes, this we found was very beneficial and once we’ve have put into practise the ‘tips and tricks’ he has shared, he has offered to join us again.
We can only speak very highly of Tony and will recommend him to any of our friends and associates who are looking at purchasing a boat.
Tony clearly showed us, that it is people and their service that make great companies, like Flagship Marine.
